VA Loan Eligibility

Establishing your VA loan eligiblity is the first step in using your VA loan benefits.

Fortunately, it's really not that hard to get your VA certificate of eligibility aka VA COE.  (Of course you knew there would be an acronym! lol...)

What is a VA loan eligbility letter?

The VA certificate of eligibility (COE) verifies to the lender that you are eligible for a VA-backed loan.

You can get your VA COE by:

  1. Contact your favorite local loan officer and they'll get it for you faster than you can say "Fall-In!"
  2. Order it yourself through eBenefits
  3. If you opt to find out about your VA loan eligibility yourself, review what you'll need at: US Department of Veteran Affairs - Certificate of Eligibility

To be honest with you, it's going to be easier for you to let the local loan officer of your choice help out.   Move forward with whatever is easiest for you!
